Kimberly Steffen
Kimberly Steffen is a California-based licensed funeral director, embalmer, educator, and consultant. She brings a multidisciplinary perspective to matters involving funeral service practices, embalming procedures, restorative art, professional standards, decedent care, and mortuary education.
Kimberly holds a bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies from CSU Sacramento, a master’s degree in Death, Religion, and Culture from The University of Winchester, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction at The University of Louisiana, Monroe.

Kimberly can provide expert witness consulting and testimony for legal matters involving the funeral service profession, or assist attorneys, funeral homes, or other clients by reviewing records, evaluating professional practices, identifying relevant industry standards, and translating specialized mortuary concepts into clear and accessible findings.
